Let's Go Crazy

A group warmup for loosening up, energy, and embracing chaos. For a short stretch of time, everyone acts outside the norm and finds their place within the shared chaos.

Setup and Launch

Gather the group and announce that the exercise takes place across the entire venue, without the constraint of the usual stage. Let them know there will be a clear stop signal at the end.

Give a simple instruction: at the start signal, allow yourself any kind of "madness" β€” from active action to complete stillness.

How It Works

  1. On the trainer's signal, everyone simultaneously enters a "crazy" state and acts wherever they wish in the available space.
  2. Each person can improvise solo or join others. If you like someone else's initiative, drop your own and join in; then switch focus again whenever you like.
  3. Any mode of participation is allowed: running, dancing, creating group initiatives, or complete stillness for the entire segment.
  4. When the set time is up, the trainer calls "Stop" and everyone freezes immediately.

Typical inner dynamic: at first the participant feels lost in the chaos, then accepts it as a new reality and finds their place within it.

Key rules

  • Use the entire space: stage, audience area, bar, even the bathroom.

  • You can 'go crazy' together or alone; transitions and joining someone else's initiative are allowed.

  • Doing nothing for the entire exercise is perfectly acceptable.

  • Time exactly 2 minutes and stop clearly on the signal.
