Full description
Installation is a short form where actors take turns coming on stage and freezing in a specific pose. Each subsequent actor adds themselves to the overall picture without breaking the already-created composition.
The result is a living sculpture or painting that can be viewed from different angles. It is important that each actor adds to the shared idea rather than stepping outside it.
Installation is usually built around an audience suggestion: a theme, a place, or an event. All actors must pay close attention to the details and support one another so the composition looks unified.
Key rules
Enter one at a time: Each actor comes on stage in turn and takes their place in the overall picture.
Do not break the composition: Add yourself in a way that supports the already-created structure. This preserves the integrity of the installation.
Use expressive poses and facial expressions: The more vivid the pose and face, the more interesting the picture.
