Five-click
In rhythm: the host clicks and "shoots" their finger at performer X. X squats instantly; their two neighbors clap to each other over their head.
Full description
Setup and launch
Emphasize the shared click pulse: the group reacts to the sound, not to pauses. Identify three roles — the host gives the impulse, the chosen performer drops down instantly, their neighbors respond with a synchronized clap over the head.
Mention the priority of peripheral awareness and synchronicity. Agree on consequences for hesitation or wrong reaction (penalty/elimination) and start at a comfortable pace, gradually accelerating.
Flow
-
The host clicks and "shoots" their finger at X — the selection signal must be sharp and unambiguous.
-
On the same impulse X instantly squats; their two neighbors simultaneously clap to each other over their head — precise coordination is key.
-
Any delay or error is noted immediately: a penalty or elimination is announced, while the game's pulse doesn't break.
-
As the group grows more confident, speed up the rhythm and don't fixate on the same participants — keep attention distributed.
This warm-up quickly awakens peripheral awareness and raises energy. Watch that the claps happen directly over the squatting person's head, without contact.
Key rules
The host sets the pace with clicks; start moderate and accelerate as the group grows ready.
The selection gesture for X is a clear "finger shot"; it's their nearest neighbors who react.
Neighbors clap synchronously over X's head; the squat happens without delay.
For hesitation or wrong reaction — immediate penalty/elimination; the rhythm doesn't break.
